Design and Co-Design
Co-Design
Alfredo Togno Foundry adopts a co-design policy in close collaboration with clients, using the latest 3D CAD design systems. This approach allows for comprehensive project planning, ensuring the achievement and maintenance of the agreed dimensional and quality standards. Thanks to rapid prototyping, the foundry can also provide a test model quickly and at low cost upon request.
Prototipi
The foundry provides prototypes quickly and cost-effectively, using both silicone models and 3D printing machinery for rapid prototyping. A test model is prototyped to ensure the quality of the final product. Routine maintenance of the molds is carried out internally at the Gravellona Toce plant, ensuring timely modifications or repairs thanks to the close collaboration and proximity of the designers.

Production Specifications
The company structure of Alfredo Togno Foundry (FTA) consists of 8 recently built automated cold chamber die-casting machines with a power range from 200 to 1000 tons. These machines are operated by qualified and constantly updated personnel. FTA offers a complete service to the customer thanks to a range of machines for the control and finishing of die-cast parts. The main finishing operations are carried out directly within the plant.
Partners
Trusted external collaborators provide additional finishing operations such as polishing (balls/hand), satin finishing, precision machining on work centers, painting, galvanic treatments, and impregnation processes. FTA can produce die-castings up to 10 kg for various sectors such as furniture, automation, mechanical, awnings, filters, lighting, medical, and ventilation. The experience accumulated over years of activity guarantees dynamic, flexible, and timely production processes.
Quality Control
Certifications
Quality is at the heart of FTA's corporate mission, certified according to UNI EN ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, ISO 50001 E 45001 standards. Suppliers are carefully selected, ensuring high-quality raw materials that are controlled in the laboratory. The die- castings are monitored throughout the production process up to packaging.

Three-Dimensional Controls Depending on the complexity of the product and its final use, three-dimensional controls, X-rays, pressure leak tests, and destructive tests can be performed. The continuous efforts aimed at a constant increase in the quality level of products and services, in full respect of the environment, have contributed to consolidating FTA's presence in demanding markets such as the German one.
